SA/NT Regional Council Elections

Each year in Australia there are a number of Regional Council positions to fill. For 2018, the nomination period runs from 1 to 31 August and nomination forms will be made available via the website, or through your local Regional Office.

Where the nominations for a particular region are equal to or fewer than the number of vacancies, the nominees are deemed automatically appointed to that position without the need for an election. Where the nominations for a particular region exceed the number of positions available, then an election will be held during September and October, and the results announced at the Regional Annual General Meeting.

Further information in regard to the Charter and role of a Regional Councillor is currently available via the website.

SA/NT Annual General Meeting 2018

The Annual General Meeting of members for the South Australian Region will be held on Wednesday 17 October 2018 at 5.30pm in the Chartered Accountants ANZ offices in Adelaide. Further relevant information is published on the website.

18 August: University of Adelaide Economics Reunion | Class of 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983

Join fellow alumni for an evening of fabulous food, wine and reminiscing from 6:30pm - 10:30pm in the PremiershipSuite at the stunning Adelaide Oval on Saturday 18 August. We look forward to hearing from Michael Stutchbury, Editor in Chief of The Australian Financial Review who will be the special guest speaker. This will be a great opportunity to reflect on University times and recall events like lunchtime runs to the weir, drinks at the UniBar and the British, days on the footy field, and who could forget those wild times in the Barr Smith Library!
