Richard is a PwC partner and has over thirty years’ experience providing advice about company and business valuations, corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions.

Richard is a past chair of the NSW Regional Council of CA ANZ, and past Chair of the CA ANZ Business Valuation Special Interest Group.

Richard has extensive experience in company and business valuations and has conducted valuations of companies and businesses for the purposes of acquisitions, divestments, and mergers including independent expert’s reports on takeovers and proposals requiring shareholder approval.

Richard’s expertise in valuation has been recognised externally by his appointment as an Adjunct Professor at the Business School of the University of Technology, Sydney.

His other areas of expertise include strategic financial advice relating to the improvement of value for listed companies, due diligence investigations relating to the acquisition and sale of companies and businesses, valuations in litigation and for tax and accounting purposes. Richard also has experience in corporate finance and negotiation assistance in sale and purchase transactions and demergers.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Business Administration. He serves on the Australian Valuation Standards Board and the Audit Committee of St Vincent de Paul Society NSW and was awarded a medal of the Order of Australia in January 2015.
