Message from the Regional Manager
A big welcome to the Region’s 11 new members to the designations of Chartered Accountants ANZ being 1 x AT, 2 x ACA’s and 8 x CA’s. We enjoyed formally recognising these career milestones at the Waikato Gala event this month and look forward to celebrating with the others in the coming months.
We held a number of Tax Roadshows throughout the region with 240 RONI members attending these events.
Craig Norgate Scholarships - A lasting legacy
CA ANZ are honouring the memory of Craig, who was an inspirational business leader, with two Scholarship opportunities to support young Kiwis setting out on their careers as Chartered Accountants. CA ANZ is honoured to offer two $5,000 scholarships, open to anyone living or working in New Zealand and Taranaki who has successfully applied, or is planning to apply, in CA ANZ's CA Program (Applications close 30 June).
Advancement to Fellowship - Each year CA ANZ recognises members’ outstanding achievement and their contribution to the profession.
What is a Fellowship?
A Fellowship recognises members for their outstanding career achievements and contributions to the profession. Their contribution may have been to CA ANZ, to the community, to business or through teaching, research or writing in the field of accounting. Members who have been awarded a Fellowship are entitled to use the designation FCA, FACA or AT (Fellow).
Nominations are open until 16 July for Fellowship awards. If you know a member who has made an outstanding contribution to the profession and/or had outstanding career achievements, read more about how to nominate them.
