On Wednesday 29th of November, the CA ANZ Queensland team hosted members from across the region at a festive lunch in the heart of Brisbane City.

Queensland Committees, Panels, Council members and CA Program members were invited to an afternoon of celebration with fellow Queensland colleagues.

Queensland Regional Manager, Mark Doorly led the festivities, acknowledging members for the dedication, time, and commitment they willingly volunteer to CA ANZ.

CA ANZ Chief Executive Officer, Ainslie van Olsen also shared her gratitude, thanking members for their contribution to our strategic key pillars and the goals of the organisation as we look forward to 2024. She spoke of the highlights, and the challenges we faced, and the successes we’ve accomplished as a profession.

Shane Simmons, Queensland Regional Council State Chair spoke about the year that was and the role our members have in a future for the profession, that supports continual growth.

The evening also supported the “CA ANZ Giving Tree Appeal” in which each member had the opportunity to donate to 1 of 5 of CA ANZ’s charity partners. A total of $2,000 was raised and distributed to the chosen charities. In return, members received a locally crafted and personalised “Thank You” gift.
