- Councillors play an important role within CA ANZ’s governance framework
- Nominations for elected positions on the Australian, New Zealand and Overseas Councils will open on 3 August 2020
- Applications for appointed positions will open on 19 October 2020
Councillor roles provide members with the opportunity to provide input into member issues, as well as act as a valuable channel for information and the views of members in the regions.
CA ANZ’s increasingly diverse membership is represented by Regional Councils in Australia, New Zealand and regions overseas including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, and the United Kingdom.
The nomination period for elected positions is from 3 August to 12pm AEST on 31 August 2020. If more than one nomination is received, an election will be held for members in the region to vote.
Following the announcement of the election results at each Regional Councils’ AGM, calls for applications for appointed positions will open at 12pm AEST on 19 October 2020.
