New Zealand extreme weather: special consideration for candidates impacted

Steps you can take if your studies have been affected by the recent extreme weather conditions in New Zealand.

With the recent flooding and Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle in New Zealand, and North Island in particular, our thoughts are with all our members and CA Program candidates who have been impacted.

To assist during this time, CA ANZ has collated a list of resources to help members recover and is offering special considerations for candidates whose studies have been disrupted.

We encourage you to submit a Special Consideration Application through My Capability if due to these extreme weather conditions you were unable to:

  • Complete your subject assessment/s
  • Attend your workshop/s
  • Onboard for your exam/s

Details on how to lodge an application is outlined on the My Capability platform. Please add in your application subject line “North Island Tropical Cyclone”.

We recognise that some candidates are unable to submit their application within the required timeframe. Late applications for candidates unable to take their assessment(s) due to extreme weather conditions will be accepted until COB 3 March 2023.
