South Island welcomes Scott Wagenvoord as its new Regional Manager.

Scott Wagenvoord took up the reins as South Island Regional Manager for Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand earlier this month.

Scott, who will be based in Christchurch, has an extensive background in relationship management in the professional services sector.

His immediate focus is on meeting his team and spending December out and about meeting his Local Leadership Teams and planning the 2019 events calendar.

Scott Wagenvoord , South Island Regional Manager, CA ANZ.

Most recently he was Regional Manager, Consumer Bank for Westpac Consumer Banking. Before that, Scott was the Senior Commercial Manager, Professional Services at Westpac.

Scott has been involved with boards and community committees and is currently on the board of Swim Canterbury West Coast. He also has extensive experience in building high-performing teams that focus on customer service and mutual engagement.

Scott says he is "very much looking forward to working with all the Chartered Accountants in the South Island, helping to grow the industry and its people."

"I have been working in financial services for 17 years, with the last four having a very close connection with the accounting community in Canterbury. I have enjoyed working with this fantastic group of professionals and I am looking forward to widening my contact to the greater South Island."

Scott replaces Colin McDougall who left CA ANZ last month.
