Katrina Shanks CA first CEO of Financial Advice New Zealand

Katrina Shanks CA has been appointed as the first CEO of the recently-established Financial Advice New Zealand.

Katrina has owned her own accountancy business for seven years and is the Chief Executive of the Funeral Directors Association. A former National Party MP, Katrina was a member of the Commerce select committee.  

Geoff Plunket FCA appointed to Blis Technologies’ board

Geoff Plunket FCA has been appointed to the Board of Dunedin biotechnology company Blis Technologies Limited as an independent director.

Geoff’s career is marked by 29 years at Port Otago, including the last 13 years as Chief Executive. During his time at the Port, Geoff oversaw significant upgrades of the infrastructure, including channel deepening.  

Sharyn Pearce CA new partner for Whanganui firm

Sharyn Pearce CA has become a partner and director of Whanganui firm Tait Pearce Chartered Accountants.

Sharyn has worked at the firm, formerly known as Lyndsay Tait & Associates, for several years. Sharyn has been a financial advisor for Hockey Wanganui for many years and was appointed a Justice of the Peace in 2017.
