"It was such a surprise and an honour, I was really touched that others in my profession had firstly thought that I should be nominated and secondly had taken the time to nominate me," Ms Harvey said.

"I have a lot of respect for those who have been awarded Fellowships in the past so to join that group was pretty special."

"Being a CA is being part of a community of professionals, we all have standards to uphold and are committed to a level of professionalism and excellence but throughout your career you also have an opportunity to contribute more than simply being part of the professional body."

"Fellows embody the characteristics that are at the core of being a CA, integrity, high professional standards and a commitment to excellence, but they also represent the commitment of individuals within the CA community to contribute to furthering the profession and also being key stakeholders in our communities."

President of CA ANZ, Stephen Walker FCA congratulated all the new CA ANZ Fellows on their achievement.

"It is great to see so many new Fellows like Natasha who excel in their career, and have a passion for the profession," he said.

"I want to congratulate all of our new Fellows on reaching this significant career milestone."

"I really encourage all of our members to consider nominating a deserving peer or colleague for a CA ANZ Fellowship in 2019."

Nominations for 2019 Fellowships open in April and close in July. Fellows will be announced at the end of the year. The newest Fellows will be recognised at ceremonies across the country over the course of the year.
