Chartered Accountants recognised in Queen’s Birthday Honours

CA ANZ is celebrating a number of chartered accountants who have been recognised in the Queen's Birthday and Platinum Jubilee Honours

Congratulations to all of the 2022 Queen’s Birthday and Platinum Jubilee Honours recipients, including the following members of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Australia:

Christopher Leptos FCA AM AO, Victoria, experienced director and chair, made an Officer of the Order (AO) in the General Division for service to the not-for-profit sector, to the public sector, and to education.

Jeffrey Ellison FCA AM, South Australia, experienced tourism sector chief executive and director, made a Member of the Order (AM) in the General Division for significant service to the tourism industry, and to the community.

Robyn Erskine FCA AM, Victoria, public practice and insolvency expert and a deputy chair with the International Federation of Accountants, made a Member of the Order (AM) in the General Division for significant service to accountancy, and to professional associations.

Philip Forrest FCA AM, Queensland, experienced director, chair and business leader, made a Member of the Order (AM) in the General Division for significant service to Australia-Singapore business relations.

Stephen Liu FCA AM, New South Wales, experienced chair, director and non-profit health supporter, made a Member of the Order (AM) for significant service to cancer support services and to the community.

Peter De Cure FCA AM, South Australia, experienced director and tax practitioner, made a Member in the Order (AM) in the General Division for significant service to the community of South Australia through a range of roles.

Ian Grant Levi CA, New South Wales, experienced director and chair, made a Member in the Order (AM) in the General Division for significant service to the community through a range of organisations.

William Murphy FCA OAM, New South Wales, long-time community and local government leader, awarded the Medal of the Order (OAM) for service to the community of Cowra.

Louis Albert Johnson FCA AM, Tasmania, made a Member of the Order (AM) in the General Division for significant service to the community through a range of organisations.

United Kingdom:

Ann-Maree Morrison CA MBE, entrepreneur, director and advisor, made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to women in business and to the economy.

New Zealand:

Anne Urlwin FCA ONZM, experienced director and chair, made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) for services to business.

Souella Cumming FCA ONZM, KPMG partner, private and public sector audit and risk expert, made an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit (ONZM) for services to governance.

Ann Tod FCA MMZM, retired KPMG Partner and Finance Director of World Netball, made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) for services to netball.

Reverend Jon Hartley CA QSO, long-time Wellington City Mission board Chair and social and charity finance leader, made a Companion of the Queen’s Service Order for services to governance and community.
