Message from the Regional Manager

A big welcome to the Region's 14 new members being;  Timothy Chaplin CA, Ranjana Kumari ACA, Shangyue  Briggs CA, Amanda Gore CA, Jannaya Feather CA, Alice Keleher CA, Bradley Chuff CA, Andre Henry AT, Karla Clegg CA, Sundarambal Shanmugam CA, Leah McAneney ACA, Deborah Richards AT, Regan Phibbs CA and Bianca Tane AT. Congratulations, we look forward to celebrating with you in the coming months.

The Central North Island Team has had a busy past month with events all over the region. The stand out events for us were the Tikanga Maori events held in Hawke's Bay and Hamilton this past week. The team took part in both events and found them inspiring, emotional and extremely relevant to both personal and professional lives and relationships. Look out for these events in our other regions later in the year.

Applications for the 2019 The Gisborne Financial Assistance Fund are open on the 1 August. If you know of anyone in the Gisborne/East Coast region considering a career in accounting or have already embarked on their pathway, they could be eligible for a grant of up to $3,000 towards their study.

We are lucky enough to hear from four mums, each with a different background, lifestyle, work and life commitments but with one common theme, they are living the working mum life week in-week out.

We will ask them about their experiences, tips and tricks around childcare, managing after work/ school activities, mummy guilt, support in the workplace, mum's personal space and time and lastly expectations at both work and in the playground.
