A Working Mums’ Conundrum with Rebecca Armour
On Wednesday, 13 February we heard from Rebecca Armour Tax Partner KPMG Auckland & Co-founder of the Corporate Mothers Network. The Corporate Mothers Network was created in 2013 to particularly recognise mothers in the corporate workplace and now has over 1000 members. The network recognises that one of the keys to success in business is relationships and therefore was designed to provide a forum for women to hear from inspirational people, facilitate business relationships and support mothers in their careers.
Rebecca shared with us her top tips for being a working mum:
- Understand what you are willing/ not willing to compromise on
- Say yes to opportunities
- Learn the power of saying NO
- Take the time to enjoy your what/ when/ how and embrace the decisions you've made and move forward
- Don't be afraid to ask!
