Celebrating our new members

Over 230 new NSW members celebrated becoming Chartered Accountants

On 3 August 2022, the Hilton Sydney Ballroom was bustling with 230 new Chartered Accountants and their family and friends celebrating their achievements at our NSW New Member Ceremony.

The ceremony began with a Welcome to Country from Brendan Kerrin, an Arrernte and Barkindji man, followed by an introduction and welcome from our NSW Regional Manager, Renee Feltrin FCA. She acknowledged the hard work, perseverance, courage, and determination it takes to become a Chartered Accountant.

Peter Woodley FCA, NSW Regional Chair then took the time to speak to our new members, expressing the many doors the CA designation will open and how it will allow them to stand among the best in the profession. Peter recognised members’ hard work to obtain this achievement and encouraged them to build upon it, believe in themselves, and follow their ambitions.
