Chartered Accountants Australia New Zealand (CA ANZ) successfully launched its My CA pilot programme to nearly 12,000 select members this month.
The community hub – called My CA – is designed to facilitate our members’ ability to connect, share, learn and collaborate on topics of interest as well as provide a personalised, relevant and convenient point-of-access to member services.
Late last year, CA ANZ undertook a Strategic Review involving over 100 workshops across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the United Kingdom.
During this review, members emphasised the importance of developing meaningful connections with their peers and leveraging our collective intelligence in today’s connected world. The need for an online community hub to meet members’ expectations for connections and information at any time, from anywhere was defined.
CA ANZ completed development and testing work on the hub throughout 2018 and has now officially begun its pilot phase of the community hub. Nearly 12,000 members from both the Rural and Primary Industry Group and the Business Valuation Community were chosen to participate in the month-long pilot program.
Their feedback is critical and CA ANZ will be actively working to incorporate any improvements to make the hub a richer, more meaningful member experience.
After the pilot, CA ANZ will explore adding more CA communities to the hub by the end of this year, with the aim to make My CA available to all members in early 2019.
Our Regional Council, Segment Advisory Committee Members and Regional Members are observing the pilot, so they can witness first-hand the interaction and collaboration on the site and share with their constituents how the platform is being used ahead of the on-boarding of our existing communities from September, opening up to all members in March 2019.
“This is the first of our strategic initiatives to be delivered, an achievement that involved a terrific amount of effort from many people across the organisation, in particular the dedicated My CA Project Team, and the Salesforce, ICT and Marketing and Communications teams who worked long hours and at times on weekends to ensure our readiness,” said Mark Rice, Group Executive Member Engagement.
"The successful delivery of My CA to our pilot member groups has been an important foundational step in CA ANZ’s journey to enhance how our members connect, collaborate and share ideas."
“The pilot provides us with the opportunity to improve the member experience and incorporate any feedback and lessons to prepare My CA for our entire membership body in early 2019.”
