Hamish Bond: Life Lessons through Sporting Excellence - 9 May

In partnership with Forsyth Barr we are thrilled to offer members an audience with Hamish Bond. Hamish was part of 'New Zealand's Golden Pair' along with Eric Murray, who claimed Gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics, their 69th consecutive win. Such phenomenal success however brought its own challenges, which Hamish will be presenting on.

Hamish will highlight learning's and observations from 13 years of international sporting success. It will include what drives him on a daily basis, and what was the Kiwi pair's secret recipe for their 8 year 69 race winning streak, given they are two seemingly very different individuals.

Hamish will also provide great insights into what has led rowing to become New Zealand's dominant Olympic sport for the last 20 years and what really happens at an Olympic Games behind the village gates.  This event will be held at Forsyth Barr’s Auckland Offices as well as being live webcast nationally and over 150 people have registered to attend.
