CA Catalyst: Small Firm Big Impact – How CAs unlock value creation for growth organisations, 6 June 2019

CA ANZ Auckland teamed-up with innovation powerhouses The Icehouse and Xero to bring the latest CA Catalyst event to members.  Aimed at public practice firms looking to access new business by ascertaining the ability to play a hands-on role in driving success within start-ups, scale-ups and growth organisations.  The panel of experienced professionals provided advice and direction in how to advise for growth in current or new clients.  

Business Briefs – The Importance of Employer Brand, 12 June 2019 

In out latest session of Business Briefs, we heard from Rosina Webb on the importance of personal brands. Rosina Webb is the founder and managing director of Energise. Her passion for motivating individuals, teams and businesses to grow, compete and achieve has made her a formidable facilitator and effective change manager. These are the skills that enable Rosina to deliver on her promise to energise and mobilise individuals, teams and businesses. Rosina will cover the key reasons why becoming a ‘powerhouse’ brand is essential to attracting the best talent and simple steps you can take to achieve this. We had a good turnout with over 120 registered both online and in person. 

Data Analytics for Finance, 12 June 2019 

The Data Analytics for Finance conference was held on 12 June at the Crowne Plaza Auckland. CFOs, Finance Directors, Managers and Data Analysts from across the country joined the day either face to face or online via live stream to explore a new world of data analytics and gain an insight into the power of information through data. The event was well attended and had positive feedback from the audience both online and in the room.

Milestone, 25 July 2019

This is an opportunity to celebrate your achievement with other Auckland members reaching their 25, 40, 50, 60 and 70 years of membership in 2019. We invite you to celebrate with friends, family and colleagues. This lunch will be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect and celebrate with your peers and colleagues at Eden Park venue. Stephen Walker FCA, Chartered Accountants ANZ president will be attending the event to present the certificates to our milestone members. 

Auckland Presidents, 25 July 2019

Senior members and invited guests will celebrate their achievements at our annual Auckland Presidential Gala Dinner, being held at Eden Park this year.  

The evening will include an Awards Ceremony and entertainment. Fellows will celebrate with invited guests, family, colleagues and friends as we recognise the significant contribution they have all made to the profession.

Business Briefs, 6 August 2019 – Innovation 

Our next Business Brief series will be held on Tuesday, 6 August where we will be joined by Catherine Newton on the Innovation. Catherine is highly experienced, empowering Leadership Expert, Speaker and Trainer with a proven record of providing strategic innovative leadership direction and implementing transformational solutions. She is a regular panellist on TV3’s AM Show. Catherine is renowned for helping you think differently when it comes to courageous, innovative approaches.  

Change Without Fear, The Science of Being Resilient Through Times of Change, Innovation and Disruption, 14 August 2019
