Emerging Leaders - Applying Design Thinking to your Career – Workshop, 16 July 2019
Melissa Jenner held a 3-hour workshop with a small group of Auckland Young Accountants at the Auckland Conference Centre in Parnell. The workshop set out to help attendees learn more about themselves, explore ideas they have already had and expand on them. Take the time to think about how they can apply the toolbox of design thinking to reduce the risk of - whatever it is you choose to do next - failing.
Milestone, 25 July 2019
Over 60 of our members celebrated their member milestone achievement with other members and family, colleagues and friends who were all reaching their 25, 40, 50, 60 and 70 years of membership in 2019. The days festivities began with a lunch and an opportunity for members to reconnect and celebrate with your peers and colleagues at Eden Park venue. Stephen Walker FCA, Chartered Accountants ANZ president was also in attendance to present the certificated which was held after the lunch.
Auckland Presidents, 25 July 2019
Senior members and their guests celebrated their achievements at our annual Auckland Presidential Gala Dinner, held at Eden Park. The evening saw Liz Hickey FCA MNZM awarded her Life Membership, Priya Sing presented her award as the Young Regional Advocate and 19 fellows receive their certificate. The evening was a great success with all attendees enjoying themselves as we had the opportunity to recognise the significant contribution they have all made to the profession.
