This year’s forum program was packed with great soft skills and technical content.
A standout was our opening keynote address from NT entrepreneur Angus Copelin Walters, aka Executive Head of Candy at Croc Candy, whose entrepreneurial journey started at the age of 11 with his desire to help those less fortunate than him. It was also a way for him to cope with his dyslexia.
An absolute legend, with some great fashion style.
Other highlights included a panel discussion with key operators in the NT on building business; networking tips and how to leave an impression, with networking guru Amy Hetherington; and discovering that ‘accountants really aren’t boring’ with the energetic and enthusiastic Raul David.
A special mention to our NTCA Panel, Jenna Swanson and Scott Jones, for pulling together an outstanding line-up of presenters and content.
We rounded the forum out with a very enjoyable member presentation and networking event. This was an opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our members in the NT.
Presentations were made to Merit Award recipients, new members and our 2020 appointed Fellows. Congratulations to you all!
We would also like to acknowledge members of the CA ANZ Board, SA-NT Council and CA ANZ Executive who were in attendance:

- Mark Rice – Group Executive Member Engagement, Chartered Accountants ANZ
- Bruce Debenham FCA – National & SA-NT Council
- Stacey Quinn FCA – Chair SA-NT Council

Thank you to all our members in the NT for joining us – we look forward to doing it all again in 2022.
