Regional manager update
The demand for ACT directors growing. With the tightening regulatory demands and community expectations it can take years to snare a board seat.
The opportunity to hear from Author Elizabeth Jameson FAICD was well received from our members on Friday, 20 April. Elizabeth founded Board Matters. A decade later, she is its Managing Director and a successful author.
The presentation was followed by “In conversation” with Glenn Keys and Karen Middleton. Glenn Keys is the co-founder and co-Executive Chairman of Aspen Medical, one of the world's leading providers of outsourced healthcare solutions. Karen Middleton, the Canberra-based journalist with more than 30 years’ experience did a fantastic job in capturing Glenn’s advice about finding the right role.
And, we have some great events coming up. In the meantime, enjoy the school holidays, and support the local Anzac day events, when we remember the brave soldiers who fought and died for their country at Gallipoli.
