Audit Committee Independent Member Sourcing Assistance

Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand are a contact point to support Commonwealth entities sourcing candidates who have the right skills and experience for an audit committee. There is an opportunity for members to offer their broader business knowledge and experience, both of which are important contributors to Commonwealth entities practicing sound governance.Remuneration will range from pro-bono to commercial fee for service basis, for further information contact Renee Le Grande.

Public Sector Advisory Panel

Are you interested in assisting CA ANZ in delivering its policy objectives? Panel members would assist the Advocacy and Professional Standards team perform its functions at a local level and open to members from the private and public sector. Let me know, if you would like to know more?

Recap of last month's events

Sharing Knowledge: Education Update with Simon Hann – Wednesday, 17 April

Simon Hann, Group Executive Education and Learning provided up update to over 40 members. In 2018, 25,077 candidates enrolled, and CA program successfully delivered 9 modules. CA has demonstrated growth in new provisional members of 7% against a 2.5% decline in Bachelor degree completions in Management & Commerce.

To ensure relevance and the CA program meets future requirements, Simon shared the research and collaboration work that has been done to date with our Global Partners Alliance to deliver flexipaths, foundations and Master's pathways and deliver continuous improvement of the current CA program that broadens the talent pipeline and improves learner experience.
