The FMA is seeking views from licensed auditors and registered audit firms on the proposed revocation of the:
- Auditor Regulation Act (Prescribed Minimum Standards and Conditions for Licensed Auditors and Registered Audit Firms) Notice 2012; and
- Amendment Notice 2015;
And introduction of the Auditor Regulation Act (Prescribed Minimum Standards and Conditions for Licensed Auditors and Registered Audit Firms) Notice 2020.
The purpose of this consultation is to create one notice for reference. As part of this proposal, the FMA is interested to know whether the respondents agree or disagree with the proposals, and the reasons for the responses. Please refer to FMA’s website for the full consultation paper and feedback form.
We are making a submission on this consultation. Therefore, please provide us your feedback and comments that you would like us to consider and include in our submission to the FMA by Friday, 18 September 2020.
